14/9/24 Two Layer Screen Printing

Come and join us for a day long course in screen printing.

You will be introduced to screen printing in our gallery with a brief chat and some artwork preparation. Then downstairs to the studio to pick a colour and pull your base colour layer with the printing arm. 

While we wait for those to dry you will get to expose your own design into a screen before you can head out into Hackney Wick for a quick bite to eat at any of the delicious neighbourhood spots. 

Upon your return we will do some final screen preparation and then onto the beds to print the final layer by hand. 

By the end of the day you should have a small edition, an appreciation for the hard work that goes into the craft and hopefully a hunger to pursue your own screen printing further. 

This class is perfect for beginners as we will do most of the heavy lifting in terms of preparation and you will be assisted by skilled technicians at all times to get the most out of your experience.

The course will start at 11:00am so please arrive a couple of minutes early to grab a tea or coffee and get settled.

We will be in touch closer to the workshop date with an information pack, which will contain all the details you will need for the day.

In the event you need to cancel your booking we can refund you so long as you let us know 14 days before the class in order to get a refund. Any cancellations after this period we will do our best to offer you another date but we will be unable to provide a refund.
