This beautiful floral illustration was found in an old Victorian gardening book on one of Ricky's romps through the British Library image archives. As part his body of work focusing on found forgotten images, it re-contextualises old forgotten print images into a new materiality and chronology. In a time where we are beset by AI content and plagiarism of living creators, the work attempts to remind us we've forgotten so many beautiful works by unknown artists that are worth revisiting and remembering.
